On Fridays, we worship Allah and do our utmost to perform all of the deeds that Muslims are required or encouraged to perform.

The Prophet (PBUH) stated that Friday is for Muslims, Saturday for the Jews, and Sunday for the Christians. He said that on the Day of Resurrection, these days would be in their usual order, so Muslims would be the first.

He also stated that the trumpet would be blown on a Friday. Moreover, he told us to send salutations upon him on Fridays.

In another Jummah Hadith, Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) said that Friday is the best day on which the sun rises.

Other things we should do include praying to Allah and reading Surah al-Kahf, as there is a period when all duas will be accepted.

What is the benefit of reading Surah Kahf on Friday?

ALLAH will pour a light (NOOR) on the face of whosoever reads Surah Kahf on Friday for the next two Fridays. ALLAH will pardon all of the sins of those who read this Surah every Friday. On Friday, whomever reads Surah Kahf will have ALLAH bless his home and safeguard him from poverty.
